2. Writer’s Block? What I think will help is if you read their citations. Google them or search their names on YouTube! Tell them how you felt while learning about their acts of selflessness and courage. Also tell them a little about yourself. What you’re doing with your life and the freedom that they fought to keep for you. I remember asking a WWII Veteran how we could thank them for their sacrifices and he said something I will never forget…“Do something great with the freedom you have.”

The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States.
National Medal of Honor Day is March 25th. For the 4th year in a row, letters, post-cards, drawings, and paintings are being collected from grateful Americans all across the country and given to our Recipients. This is a great way for students, businesses, groups, and individuals to learn about – and thank our nation’s heroes.
This year, I am excited to announce I have partnered with the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation to further the reach of this program.
Opening in 2024 in Arlington, TX, the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation in on a mission to inspire America through the stories of valor and values the Medal of Honor represents. Join the mission by subscribing to their newsletter or support their efforts with a tax-deductible donation.
