The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation is Partnering with Janine Stange for the Sixth Annual “Medal of Honor Mail Call” Celebrating National Medal of Honor Day on March 25th.
Americans from all walks of life are invited to send Medal of Honor recipients personal letters thanking them for their service and sacrifice.
How to Participate in Medal of Honor Mail Call 2022:
GROUPS & INDIVIDUALS
- Review this gallery to learn about each of the 66 living recipients of the Medal of Honor. Pick a recipient, or two, (or all!) who stand out to you.
- Groups such as schools, teams, churches, companies, etc., please take a moment to explore living recipients from your state or a particular branch to write to. Note: We are no longer assigning recipients to groups, please select the Recipient(s) of your choice.

- Write your letter. Make it personal, speak from the heart, let them know what you learned from their story, why it matters, and what it means to you! Are you an artist? Create something for your Recipient(s)! They will love it!
- Mail your letters to us by Medal of Honor Day – March 25, 2022. Note if you are sending more than one letter – mail them in one package.
